Thymesia is currently one of the most interesting soul-like games that we have right now. Unlike any other game, this one is not that complex, especially for beginners. One of the things that every player should know is that their overall stats in the game also depend on their level. The higher level you have, the better statistics your character has.
Leveling in Thymesia can be achieved as players progress through the game. However, there are some enemies and bosses that are just too difficult to defeat if we just follow the single path of the storyline. This is why it is always recommended to gather as much experience as possible to level up fast.
There are a few ways that you can use to level up in Thymesia. So here, we will be telling you the most efficient way to level up faster in the game.
How to Level Up Fast
In order to level up your character as fast as possible, you’re going to need to gather and obtain enough Memory Shards. Now, Memory Shards can be obtained by defeating enemies, completing missions and levels, and killing bosses. However, in this guide, we will be showing you how to make leveling much easier.
Increasing Your Luck
For our first tip, we recommend that you get the Luck talent. Having at least level 1 of Luck talent will grant you a slight increase in item drop rate, which also increases the chance of you getting Memory Shards. If you have enough Talent Points that you don’t mind spending, you can max the Luck talent tree.
The Power of Potions
For our next tip, go to the potions area. It doesn’t matter which portion is selected as long as you have already unlocked the Oregano, Fennel, and Clove. What you need to do is open the potion and upgrade to increase your ingredient slots to level 3 or level 4.
Assuming that you have already unlocked at least level 4, what you need to do is craft a potion that increases the Memory Shards drop rate. To be exact, you need to craft a potion called Focus. What this potion does is increase the Memory Shards drop rate by 10%, which will basically stack with the Luck talent that you have also unlocked. To unlock the Focus potion, you need rosemary, mint, and thyme.
Increasing the drop rate of Memory Shards only means that you will be getting more Memory Shards, and having a good number of Memory Shards allows you to level up faster and more effectively.
Using Memory Shards
Assuming that you were able to get a handful of Memory Shards, it’s now time for you to use them. Memory shards also come with a leveling system, which means the higher the level of Memory Shards you get, the higher the experience you will receive. For example, a level 1 Memory Shards will usually give players around 10 boosts. If you have 30 shards, then you can get more than 300 shards.
The Memory Shards level 1 can be found all over the place, and just as we mentioned earlier, they can be dropped after defeating enemies. As for the Memory Shards level 2, it is usually dropped after defeating enemy bosses in the game. Again, there are still lots of Memory Shards that you can get as you progress through the game.
